FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE A reception for the artists will take place Thursday, September 20 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Carson City Courthouse, located at 885 East Musser Street in Carson City. Admission is free and the public is cordially invited. At press time, the artists were both deep in creative process, conceptualizing and developing their site-specific sculpture installations. While the final product of their individual efforts is distinctively different, both use personal narrative and autobiographical elements as starting points for the creation of their work. Although Ms. Scronce and Mr. Morrison are both member of the UNR Art Department sculpture faculty, this is a rare opportunity for them to show together.
