| Nevada Neighbors XII: "What Up? - Artistic & Curatorial Practice in Northern Nevada [a field report]" Nevada Neighbors, Capital City Arts Initiative’s
lecture series on contemporary art practice, presents
its twelfth event "What Up? - Artistic & Curatorial In conjunction with CCAI’s What Up? exhibition, Ms.
Gray and Ms. Vagner will showcase work by artists
working in northern Nevada. They will also discuss the Sara Gray is an artist and earned her B.A. degree from UNR. She is the Interim Director of UNR’s Sheppard Fine Arts Gallery. Kris Vagner is an artist and arts writer. She received her B.A. degree from Arizona State University. Ms. Vagner is Arts Editor for the Reno News and Review. The Capital City Arts Initiative is an artist-centered organization committed to the encouragement and support of artists and the arts and culture of Carson City and the surrounding region through community building and public programs. Its activities include contemporary art exhibitions, live events and arts education programs for the area’s diverse adult and youth populations.
