FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE "On the Street: Artists and Community Practice" [Nevada Neighbors XVII] Nevada Neighbors, Capital City Arts Initiative’s lecture series on contemporary art, returns on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, with "On the Street: Artists and Community Practice," a talk by Courtney Fink. Ms Fink is the director of Southern Exposure, the visionary San Francisco artists organization. Earlier in her career, Ms. Fink worked at the Franklin Furnace in New York and Capp Street Project in the Bay Area. She is also an artist, writer, and curator. She has lectured at Stanford University, Mills College, California College of the Arts and the San Francisco Art Institute. CCAI is funded in part by the Carson City Redevelopment Authority; the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts; The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts; the Gannett Foundation; the James W.
