Visual Arts Exhibition
Capital City Arts Initiative's Caffeine! Gallery at Comma Coffee presents "WNCC/An Eclectic Collection," an exhibition of artwork by Western Nevada Communicty College [WNCC] Art Department faculty Paul Cirac and students Jessica Combos and Shelly deLaureal during the month of December. There will be a reception on Wednesday, December 7th, from 5 to 6 p.m.
Comma Coffee is located in Carson City's historic downtown at 312 Carson Street across from the State
Legislature Building. The exhibition and reception are free and the public is cordially invited.
WNCC/An Eclectic Collection will feature an assortment of photography, graphic design, and traditional painting. Jayna Conkey, Head of the Graphics Communications Program, will exhibit digital photography. Part-time graphics instructor Paul Cirac will present graphic design work. Jessica Combos and Shelly deLaureal will exhibit digital photography; Shelly deLaureal's work on disply also features a pastel drawing.
Caffeine! is a project sponsored by the Capital City Arts Initiative and Comma Coffee. Caffeine! presents month-long exhibitions of work by local artists.
The Capital City Arts Initiative is an artist-centered organization committed to the encouragement and support of artists and the arts and culture of Carson City and the surrounding region through community building and public programs. Its activities include contemporary art exhibitions, live events and arts education programs for the area’s diverse adult and youth populations.
